Tate and Tucker's Birthday Party

Last Saturday was Tate's 4 and Tucker's 1st Birthday Party! It was fantastic! It was a fire truck birthday party. It started off at the fire station for a tour and then ended up at a park with a pizza lunch and cupcakes. Of course, Tucker got his very own smash cake! He really got into too! He had red velvet cake everywhere! It was so fun but it is hard to believe that Tate is already 4 and Tucker will be one on April 6th. Time sure does fly by.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Today was a beautiful day here and we got out the wagon that McKenzie and Landon got for Christmas. It was Landon's first wagon ride ever! He is still a bit young to ride in it though. He just can't sit up yet so it was hard for him to not just fall forward into McKenzie's lap, which he did a few times. However, he really enjoyed the wagon ride and looked all around. McKenzie loved having him with her!

Landon's 6 Month Check-Up

Today we had Landon's 6 month check up. He is the perfect bill of health, thank God! He can now have water to drink, and all fruits, vegetables, and even meats! He can eat 3 meals a day now and cut the cereal back to once a day with a fruit, vegetable, and meat at dinner instead! I am looking forward to seeing what he thinks about the meats. McKenzie always loved them. Here are his stats from today's visit and McKenzie's at 6 months also.

Landon:
Weight: 19 lbs. 3.2 oz (75%)
Height: 28 1/2 inches (95%)
Head Circumference: 42 1/2 cm (14%) (His head looks much bigger than 14% to me!)

McKenzie:
Weight: 17 lbs (75%)
Height: 28 inches (95%)
Head Circumference: 43.5 cm (75%)

McKenzie Visits the Dentist

Yesterday, was McKenzie's first visit to the dentist! She was excited to go but when we got there...it was a different story! She sat down in the chair no problem and then the put the bib on her. She did not like that. And then, when the lady opened up the new tools to be used, she went through the roof! She cried and cried and cried. Finally, the lady cleaning her teeth after much talking and explaining what everything was and what everything did gave her the vacuum thing they call Mr. Thirsty! That was all she needed. She was then in love and thought that was the coolest thing ever. After a fashion she let the nice lady clean her teeth and all went well. When we left, McKenzie wanted to know if she could come back next week. Isn't that always the way?!
