Friday was McKenzie's last day of school! Her class had an End of the Year Program on Thursday night where they sang some songs. It was adorable! Then on Friday they had a picnic lunch and played relay games with each other before the day was over and summer vacation began. I took McKenzie's picture the first day of school and the last day of school. I am always amazed at how much she grows in one year and how much her looks change!
Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms that read my blog! I know this is a bit late but better late then never! Sunday was very relaxing for us. We went to church and then came home and just hung out. Sunday night we went out for dinner. It was a very good day. Here were some pictures we took before church...
My two blessings and my reasons for being able to celebrate Mother's Day!
Friday, was the Mother's Day Tea at McKenzie's school! It was fabulous! All the moms had to wait in the hall to be escorted into the room by their child. When the kids came out to get us they brought flowers that they had made. Once inside the room we were all taken to our seats and served by our child. We had adorable place mats that the kids made. Also at our seats was a whick filled with Hershey Hugs and Kisses and the note attached to it said "whisking" you lot of Hugs and Kisses this Mother's Day! Precious! We also got lotion that the kids made us and a beautiful flower planted in a painted pot by our child.
My very special reason for being at the Mother's Day Tea!
I was just trying to upload some more pictures of our visit with Uncle Jeffrey and my blog page tells me that I have exceeded the limit for photos on my blog. Who knew there was a limit? Does anyone know how to get a bigger limit? I am so upset. I had the best pictures of Jeff with the kids before he left today.
Jeffrey is moving back to Norway. He came to our house on Monday and Jason took him to the airport today to fly back. He is going to be working as an assistant manager in a very nice restaurant there. He will be finished in September and then who knows where he will end up. We miss him already though. We love to have him at our house!
Yesterday, Landon turned 8 months old...already! I can't even believe it! He is chatting up a storm now and so much fun! He continues to be such an easy child. He had his first ear infection over the weekend. he also got his first tooth last week. Jason lowered his crib so now it seems so big when he lays in it. He is also out of the baby bath tub and into the duck! He has begun to bounce on his knees when he rolls to his tummy. I am not sure if that means crawling soon or not! Time will tell!
