Landon's Bug

Landon has this big plastic bug that he carries around with him everywhere and puts it in things and then we find it all over the house.  On a first glance it will scare you every time.  Landon is also into closing the soap door when the dishwasher is open.  He will just come by and shut the door so when you go to start the dishwasher you have to open the soap door to put the soap in first.  Very routinely I was doing that the other day and when I opened up the soap door to put in the soap there was his bug.  I screamed!  It was hilarious!  Last weekend, Jason and I were in Greenville, SC for the George Strait concert and when he got his dress shoes out of the bag to put on for dinner he screamed.  I asked him what was wrong and in his shoe was Landon's bug!  So now we try to prepare ourselves for the bug to be anywhere!  It is quite funny!  :)

Morgan Kate or Nobody

McKenzie is just absolutely, 100% sure that our new baby will be a girl.  She says she already has one brother and that is enough.  The other morning Jason and McKenzie were having breakfast together and she told Jason that if the baby is a girl we are going to name her Morgan Kate.  We have not even discussed names yet, but she is sure that will be the name if it's a girl.  Then Jason asks, "Well what if it's a boy?"  McKenzie's response..."Then we name him Nobody.  Like this Daddy, Nobody come on it's time to go."  Well needless to say we just died laughing and we have decided to no find out what this baby is either so hopefully we can have a name better than Nobody if we have another little boy!

Scottsdale, AZ ~Master's 2013

Last week Sunday-Thursday, Jason and I were in Scottsdale, AZ for his work trip that he earned. We have never been there and it was absolutely gorgeous! It was such a fun trip. Jason had meetings that he had to attend but I just got to hang out. I visited the pools and actually read a book! I had time to do that! We met a ton of really nice people. This was our first trip with the new company that Jason works for now, LPL Financial. So we went knowing no one and came home with several new friends. I will not be making the next trip to San Diego because it is in August 2 weeks before baby #3 is due! But, I'm looking forward to meeting back up with everyone next year!

Very Behind...

Well I have gotten behind on the blogging and I am just trying to catch up! It has been a very busy few week with the stomach virus and being out of town.

Landon has turned 18 months old already. He is WALKING!!! He is everywhere and into everything! He is so fast and sneaky, I really have to watch him. We are all done with physical therapy and he has graduated from all of that! I can't believe how fast March is already passing and very soon we will have a 5 year old which I can't even believe!  Here are the stats from Landon's 18 month check up.

Landon
Weight: 24 lbs (23%)
Height: 34 inches (89%)
Head Circumference: 45 1/2 cm (4%)

McKenzie (18 Months)
Weight: 25 lbs (75%)
Height: 35 inches (95%)
Head Circumference: 47 3/4 cm (90%)

Here are some pictures from what we have been up to this month so far!

Landon's first snow! It happened March 3rd and I'm so glad I took these pictures because it was all melted when we got home church! He didn't quite know what to make of it but his smile was so precious!

We had a play date with Allison, Jennifer, and little Katy this month!

Landon has discovered Baxter's crate.  He loves to get inside of it and shut the door.  I can remember McKenzie doing this too.  So funny!

Landon's favorite toys are still the pots and pans.  He drags them all over the house.  On this day, I found him with the frying pan in the dinning room and he was sitting in it!  He is hilarious!

McKenzie and Landon have really started to play well together.  He is finally old enough to really play but young enough to still do as she says!  (This is one of the many crafts that MG is wearing on her head that she has made!)

The other day I was making cookies and the phone rang.  When I came back into the kitchen this is what I found!  McKenzie, my very special helper had taken over and was making all the cookie dough balls for me!  She did a great job too!

This was taken before church this morning.  March 17th, St. Patrick's Day!
