McKenzie's first Day of Pre-K

Today was McKenzie's first day of Pre-K!  She will be going all 5 days this year 9:00-12:00.  She was so so excited to go!   We went a few weeks ago and saw her classroom.  She is in the whale class this year!  When I dropped her off in the drop off line she got out of the car and poor Landon just sat there and looked at her empty car seat as if to say, "Where did sister go?"  The look on his little face was so pitiful.  McKenzie had an excellent first day of school though!  She loved every minute of it and can't wait to go back tomorrow.

Landon's 1 Year Check-Up and New Ride

Today was Landon's 12 month check up.  Poor boy had to get 4 shots.  He does much better with them than his sister does.  That makes life a whole lot easier on me!  Here are his stats...

Weight- 22 lbs 4 oz.   (40%)
Height- 32 inches (96%)
Head Circumference- 45 cm (13%)

Landon got a new ride for his birthday and he loves it!  With gas $3.89 a gallon it is a good thing that he has a great big sister to push him around!  We are hoping once he grows a little taller and can reach the floor well that this will help him build leg strength.

He loves the horn!

Landon's 1st Birthday Party

Landon's 1st birthday was on Saturday, September 1st! I did the Very Hungry Caterpillar theme. It was really fun and really easy! We had planned for a pool party but we have not had a very good August and the pool water was rather chilly. Landon did not swim but he sure was entertained all day long with everyone wanting to hold the birthday boy. We just can't believe how fast this year has gone by and that our baby is already 1!
