Steve and Maggie's Birthday Party

Saturday we went to Madison to celebrate Steve and Maggie's birthdays.  It was a fun time!  Mom cooked a delicious meal and the kids decorated Valentine cookies and played.  Here a few pictures from the day.  Today is actually Steve's 29th birthday!  Happy Birthday Little Brother!  (He will never see this because he never reads my blog.  I'm not even sure he knows I have one!  Ha!)

Valentine Cookies

Since we were all home during the snow storm I made cut out cookies and the kids helped me decorate them.  It was so much fun!  I turned my by back to get the wax paper out of the drawer and when I turned about around Landon said, "Matthew face dirty."  He had given Matthew a spoonful of frosting.  Of course, Matthew loved it and was all smiles!  It was so funny!  Landon is so quick and into everything these days.  He is absolutely hilarious though.  Here are some of the pics for cookie decorating!

***SNOW***

We have had two round of snow so far this winter.  The first one was in January and the second one was last week.  McKenzie was out of school Jan. 28-31 and again Feb. 11-13 for the snow.  It was a total mess here in Georgia.  Poor Georgia just doesn't have a clue how to prepare for such storms.  We were very lucky that we were all 5 home together when both storms happened.  We only lost power with the second storm for about 45 minutes.  So many people were without power for days.  It was crazy!  We had a fabulous time playing in it though.  It was Landon's first big snow to play in and Matthew's first snow to see!  McKenzie and Landon both loved drinking hot chocolate after playing outside.  Landon called it his "coffee!"  So funny!

The First Snow storm...The snow was about 2.5 inches but very fluffy and not good for building a snowman.

The second snow started as an ice storm and the snow was very thick and good for packing!
Matthew was keeping warm while the power was out!

The trees were so beautiful all covered in ice.

Matthew's Eating!

Wow!  It has again been a long time since I updated our blog.  Life is just in the fast lane.  Since I updated last Matthew has turned 5 months.  Actually, this Saturday he will be 6 months!  So he is now eat all kinds of vegetables and some fruits too.  He likes them all except peas.  He will not eat them.  Won't even open his little mouth.  It just stays buttoned right up!  He sits up very well by himself now and shakes rattles, eats his toes, smiles all the time, and loves to chew!  He chews on anything he can get his little hands on!  He did have to go to the doctor for a sinus infection last Monday and he weighed 19.4 then!  He is growing so fast!

This is Matthew's friend Max who was born two weeks after him!  Yes, Matthew is in an 18 month sleeper in this pic and Max is in 6 months!
