Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Jason turned 31 on June 20th!  He went to the Braves game the night before so that gave McKenzie and I time to decorate the house.  It was so much fun!  She was so excited about his birthday, it was precious!  McKenzie even set the table for breakfast with birthday plates, napkins, and party hats!  I talked to Jason's secretary and I got his calendar blocked so that he had the day off.  Jason loves trains so we spent a great family day at a train museum near Atlanta.  There were all kinds of trains.  Little model trains and a village and then all kinds of real, once working old trains.  We even got to take a train ride!  It was a really fun day!  The kids loved it and so did we.  That night we got a babysitter and went out to dinner and movie!

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!

We had a quiet Father's Day this year with just us.  We went to church, swam, and then to eat dinner.  Of course no one wanted to look at the camera during presents!

Cute Happenings During June

We have had a very busy June!  I can't believe that it is already the 30th.  It's crazy how fast time passes by.  Here are some cute pics from this month.

Landon loves cookie dough!  Any time I get my big mixer out he goes right to the silverware drawer and gets a spoon and stands there and waits.  It's so funny!  He is a boy after my own heart!

This is how Landon has fallen asleep the last two nights!  Just like his Nana!

Sweet MG fell asleep with her baby in her arms!

Handy Man Landon...he flips over his motorcycle and works on it with the can opener!  Hysterical to watch!

My Little Kitchen Helper!  He is great at it too!  I'm raising a very helpful little boy!

Way Too Fun

Last night we went to dinner at our friend's house, the McGahees. They have a little boy who is just a few months younger than McKenzie. They love to play together and always have so much fun. Last night they played outside until they were so dirty they had to be hosed off and then we had to borrow some of Carson's clothes to come home in! You know that is a great night of playing outside when you are so dirty you can't even get in the car to come home until you change clothes!

I think she looks so adorable in these boy clothes!

Panama City Beach 2013

We just got back on Saturday from our week at the beach.  We had a great time!  We are so lucky that our children love the beach as much as we do.  McKenzie has no fear of the water and loves to play in the sand.  She is a fish in the pool and loves every minute of the sun she can get.  She is so tan!  Landon loves the sand as well.  He really did not have any fear of the ocean either.  The water was really warm so he loved it.  Last Saturday we got to spend the day with Tanta Nana and Uncle Carlos.  They drove over to hang out with us.  It is always so great to see them.  We had the best time!  It was a fabulous trip but it is always great to get home.  We were all exhausted after our week away!

McKenzie's First Braves Game

This post is a little out of order but honestly, I forgot to include it! Last Wednesday, May 22, Jason took McKenzie to her first Braves Game! They had a ball! She came home with a Braves hat and tomahawk! It was so hot that day and the game started at noon, that in the second inning they had to move up much higher into the shade. She has been asking when she can go to another game!

Douglasville Rodeo

Last Friday night, May 24th we went to our local rodeo. It is very close to our house and both of our kids love a good rodeo! It didn't start until 8 which is bedtime but we went anyways. Sometime you just have to live a little! We had a fantastic time! Aunt Maggie didn't make it to this one but she would have done awesome if she was there. I had to include a few pictures of my little cowboy that night!

Supper Club is Back

Finally, Supper club got back together on May 18th! We haven't seen each other all together in several months. We celebrated Heider's birthday which was May 25th. It was a freezing day here that day and raining off and on but everyone still managed to swim...everyone but Landon and me! It was way too cold for us! We had a wonderful day together and the best part is that we have dates for June and July to get together again! I'm so excited!

Heider, Tiffany, Katie, Adam, Landon, and Lobello
Landon and McKenzie love Adam...they think since he is so big he is like a climbing toy!
I love this picture...Jason just looks so little compared to Adam!
