McKenzie's 1st Pep Rally

Last week at McKenzie's school was Homecoming Week! So on Friday they had a big Homecoming Pep Rally. I took the boys and we went. It was so much fun! They did the Cha-Cha Slide, the limbo, dressed the Sr. boys up like girls, and introduced the homecoming court. McKenzie was so excited! She of course had never seen anything like a pep rally before. Landon loved it too, all of it except for Hawk the mascot! Every Friday at McKenzie's school, after school, there is a snow cone truck that comes and everyone who wants a snow cone can buy one. So the kids had snow cones after the pep rally!

We went to Young Harris 2 weekends ago for Matthew to meet great grandma and grandpa. While we were there McKenzie and Landon got to carve a pumpkin with Papa. It rained all day Saturday, so no outside playing. It was off to Fun World and then ice cream!

Sunday, September 22, Matthew turned 1 month old!

Well Check Ups

I am really behind on my blog these days. That is because I would much rather rock my sweet baby then type! We are growing, growing, growing around here! Landon had his 24 month check up and he is a healthy, mischievous little thing! He is into everything and climbs on anything that is still long enough to let him. Here are Landon's stats:

Matthew is 2 Weeks Old Today and Sweet Big Brother

I can't even believe that sweet Matthew has been with us and we have been a family of 5 for 2 weeks! How fast time goes! Matthew is such a blessing. He is a wonderful baby. He only cried when he is hungry. He is sleeping about 4 hours at a time at night! He loves to be held and cuddled and there is no shortage of arms in this house to do that! Big sister loves to hold Matthew by the hour. McKenzie is a huge help. She feeds him and everything. She just can't get enough of him. If Landon kisses him once a day, he kisses him 1,000 times. It is the sweetest thing. Landon is also learning the meaning of gentle! It is hard for him being that he is so young too. We are all doing well and everyone is adjusting great!

Landon's 1st Day of Preschool

Yesterday, was Landon's 1st day of Preschool! He was so excited to go to school and walked right into the building. However, when we got to his classroom and I went to walk away, he cried. Poor little guy. He did fine though. He is going to have a great year and he will love playing with the other kids so much! He is such a sweet boy! Since Landon's birthday was Sunday, he got to bring cupcakes for snack and the class celebrated his birthday on the very first day of school! His name was even on a cake sign hanging on the door!

Happy 2nd Birthday Landon Jay

Yesterday, our sweet Landon turned 2! Wow! That was a fast 2 years! We had a great family day yesterday. When we got up Landon opened his presents and then we went to the zoo. Since Nana was here Matthew stayed home. Landon loved the zoo. It was his first time there. He looked at all the animals and then at at the end we rode the train and the merry-go-round. We came home and had a nap and then headed to Moe's for dinner. Landon loves Moe's and the cheese dip there. After Moe's we came home and had cake to celebrate. It was a really fun day!

Meet Matthew Davis, Our Precious Caboose

Our precious little caboose, Matthew Davis was born on Thursday, August 22. He weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. I was right, he was a boy! Jason thought girl! He was our #3 best surprise! I loved not finding out what our babies were! Best surprises of our lives!! I had a great delivery with him and everything went smoothly. We came home from the hospital Friday afternoon and have been doing great ever since. Matthew sleeps great and eats great! Everyone is adjusting well. Landon is having the hardest time being that he is such a Mama's boy and still so young. Mom has been here the last two weekends helping out so that has been a huge help. We are doing great and I will update again soon when I have time!
