Happy Halloween! Tonight was our Trunk-a-Treat at church. We had tons of kids. It is our biggest outreach project of the year, averaging between 8,000 and 10,000 kids. Tonight they were saying was the biggest it has ever been. It was amazing! The kids of the church got to trick or treat first. Every stop that we came to McKenzie would say, "Happy Halloween!" It was so precious! Then she would open her bag for the candy. She got really good by the end of it. We made our round and then we passed out candy with our Life Group. We had a great turn out there! It was really, really fun!

Halloween...Mossybrook Style
Today was day full of trick or treating! We started off in the town where Jason's office is and did trick or treating there. Jason and his assistant, Maggie were passing out candy. It was so fun to see him at his little booth. He looked so cute passing out candy and they both did a great job! From there we came home for a few minutes and then it was time to go out trick or treating around our neighborhood. We went to a few houses and then we stopped off at our next door neighbors house for a Halloween Party! It was really fun! They have Brunswick stew that every year that Jason talks about all year long! (I don't make that!) Then there is always a big reveal of what the neighbors are going to be! They dress up every year and this year was nothing short of an absolutely awesome pull off! Every year it just keeps getting better. It is always a huge secret and everyone wants to know what they are going to be! You will just have to look at the pictures below to understand! Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Carving Fun
Tonight we carved out pumpkin! This year McKenzie really enjoyed it and understood what we were doing! We baked the seeds and salted some and put cinnamon and sugar on some. The sweet ones were the best! McKenzie thought that was really neat that you could eat the seed of the pumpkin. Happy carving to your family!

ELC Fall Party
Today was McKenzie's Fall Party at her school. It was at 9:30 this morning. That is a really hard time to have "party food" for little kids. McKenzie was not hungry at all and did not eat much. Her party was fun and she enjoyed me being there. However, it is very hard for me to be there because she just wants me all the time. She does not want to do things with her class. So, it made it kind of hard. Hopefully, as the year goes on the parties will be easier for her! It was fun to go to her class and see all her friends! They are all so sweet and cute! I just love the little school that she goes to!

Burt's Farm and Amicalola Falls
Today we had a family outing with our Life Group (Sunday School Class). Amber and Tate met us there. They were supposed to be having an outing with a friend but the friend got sick so they joined in with us! We went to a pumpkin patch and to a State Park to see a beautiful waterfall. We had a picnic lunch. It was the most perfect day, about 75 degrees, sunny and a gorgeous October sky! McKenzie and Tate were inseparable the entire day. They held hands, took a hayride, shared popcorn, picked out pumpkins and ran all over together! They are so sweet together these days. They were both so good and just loved being with the other. It was such a fun day!
Looking for the perfect pumpkin!
Still holding hands!
Look at this...all on their own! Priceless!
